Our service fee for filling everything out and issuing a 90 day temp for you to drive on, is $16.00 cash in person over the counter. You will need a valid Illinois drivers licence (for plates) or state issued picture I.D. (for title only) and proof of current valid insurance. We will fill everything out, assign you a temporary tag and you will need to return in 60-90 days to pick up your plates. You will receive a tax receipt when you pick up the plates. The title will be mailed directly to you, per state law. Make sure to have your name on your mail box, the title is a legal document.
